In this
page we taught some vocabulary to describe things, places, buildings, people,
and clothes. I want to show you the adjectives that I didn’t know.
ELDERLY
we use this adjective to refer people, when we want to say that a person is old
or ancient.
TRENDY
this adjective is used to describe clothes and it meaning Moda in Spanish.
OLD - FASHIONED, this adjective is used to describe clothing and its meaning is the
opposite of TRENDY.
The same
day that we taught the adjectives, we read an amazing story on page 32. I am pretty
sure that almost everybody knows this story that is called Troy.
In this
story I taught a lot of words.

In this
unit we made a review of past forms (simple past, past continuous, past perfect
and past perfect continuous).
At first,
it was a little hard for me learning all the past forms, but with the time, I
was able to learn them good.

Simple
Past is one of the easiest tenses to identify. First, we have to know that simple past is used to talk
about of actions that were performed and completed in the past.
I will show some
words that help us to identify when someone are talking us in past tense.

movies yesterday.
Past progressive
When we want to
talk about actions that were in progress in a specific time in the past we use
Past Continuous. Also is called Past Progressive.
Example
I was reading for
hours until I fall asleep.
Pas perfect
Past Perfect is
an action that was performed before another action in the past.
Example
The
meeting had already started by the time I arrived.
Past
Perfect continuous
We
use past perfect continuous to talk about actions that were in progress in the
past, but the actions finished until the moment that is speaking.
Example.
I
had been doing my homework until you arrived.
The
professor taught us some adverbs: position
This
class was important to me because some of this adverbs, were unknown them to
me. I will show some adverbs that I have been using pretty often.
Some
of them are used at the beginning of the sentence, at the middle and at the
end.
Adverbs
However
is used at the beginning of the sentence. This is one of the connecting adverbs.
Its meaning is, Sin embargo in Spanish. ( ActiveBook page 39 part 6)
Fully,
is one of the adverbs of certainty and completeness. This adverb is used at the
middle of the sentence and before of the main verb. ( ActiveBook page 39 part
6)
